Prior to joining AWS, Mackenzie was the Head of Technical Operations at Betterment, the world’s largest independent robo-advisor based in NYC which manages over $8B in assets. Mackenzie was a founding engineer and Head of Technical Operations at Oscar Health, an insurance startup also based in NYC, helping to grow the company to over 400+ employees.

Join us for Gen AI Day, a one-day event in San Francisco, showcasing how startups are building with Generative AI on AWS. We will broadcast the keynote from the virtual Gen AI Day, followed by a business track and technical demo session led by our SF-based customers, partners, and AWS experts.

 

You will get the live in-person experience to hear from industry leaders and experts who have leveraged Generative AI on AWS to innovate and drive growth in their respective fields. You will learn about the latest trends and best practices, as well as tools and services such as Amazon Bedrock to help you build and deploy powerful AI Applications.

Frank Liu is the Head of AI & ML at Zilliz, where he serves as a maintainer for the Towhee open-source project. Prior to Zilliz, Frank co-founded Orion Innovations, an ML-powered indoor positioning startup and worked as an ML engineer at Yahoo. His passion for ML extends beyond the workplace, in his free time he trains ML models and experiments with unique architectures. Frank holds MS and BS degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
